Susan Vega will be joined by her long-time musical partners Mike Visceglia and Gerry Leonard as well as the String Quartet of Light and Sound as she performs her distinct brand of love songs inspired by the city and people that she has always loved. |

Light and Sound, founded by violinist Julianne Klopotic, is a concert series dedicated to promoting New, Experimental, Sacred and World Music. It is the intention of the series to invite various artists and composers into its musical circle to perform, record, and promote music of the new millennium, shedding light on music not often heard and presenting music to be listened to in a new way.
About Founder Julianne Klopotic
Julianne Klopotic studied at the Peabody and Mannes Colleges completing her education with Felix Galimir (Juilliard). She has been the recipient of the Artists International Solo Competition presenting her solo debut at Carnegie's Weill recital hall. Grant recipient of the Mikhashoff Trust for New Music, NY Women Composers Society and International Who's Who in performance. Her solo and recording work can be found on the following labels: Universal Music, 4-Tay, Naxos, Arista, Polygram, Colombia, Sony Classical, Socialist, Stockholm Records, Durto, Rebis Music, Restless Records, Polydor, Touch and Go, and The American Festival of Microtonal Music.
